As I prepare to retire, we are exploring investor partnerships and shared ownership options for Homegrown Enterprises. There is still a strong vision for an Ecovillage to form and further cultivate the olive oil business as an economic base.
We are currently creating written materials around the various opportunities, and are making plans to hold a vision meeting and conference call soon. This is a critical time for professional suggestions, business and land valuation, projections, and marketing.
We are in need of a few inspired leaders who are willing to step forward and help usher Homegrown Enterprises into this new phase....either as an eco-community or as a company owned by multiple partners. It is time to form a volunteer Board of Directors who can collectively cultivate this transformation for the best interest of the land, our community, our stakeholders, the company, and our beloved Tehama Gold Olive Oil.
I have heard from many long-time, loyal customers that they want to insure that their world's favorite olive oil will continue to be available. This is indeed my greatest desire. But I cannot do this alone....and who would want to?
What I am proposing will indeed take vision, passion, willingness, sacrafice, time, and money.
